Kimberly Daniels, CPM

My motivation in becoming a midwife began with the personal desire to serve women. I grew up surrounded by a family of loving, strong women and I saw how important it is to come alongside and support one another during life’s changing moments. My desire for each family is to serve alongside them as they choose their own birth experience. I want to equip each family with knowledge, confidence, techniques, education, and support while we walk through this transformative journey.

I am a mother to six beautiful children who inspire me in this field. I founded Abundant Life Midwifery in 2018 to provide my own personalized care to expecting families. I have trained under 11 midwives, which has provided me with a wide range of knowledge and hands-on skill in hundreds of different birth settings and scenarios.

To date, I have attended 620+ births and counting. It is my honor and privilege to witness and empower women as they bring life into the world.

Leagan Britt

Hi! I’m Leagan Britt, a third-year student midwife scheduled to graduate and license in 2026. I’ve spent the last three years training under Kimberly Daniels and supporting the families under the care of Abundant Life Midwifery. These years of hands-on experience and deep-rooted wisdom has prepared me to serve and care for families as I step into licensure.

I’ve been involved in birth work for over six years, beginning as a doula before stepping into the path of midwifery. I’m a BEST-certified doula trained in peanut ball use, childbirth educator, and am experienced in supporting a wide variety of birth preferences and settings. I’ve also attended up-to-date trainings on suturing, lab work, and emergency care, as well as hold current NRP and CPR certifications.

Alongside my professional training, I’m a mother of three, with personal birthing experiences ranging from a hospital birth with an epidural to a peaceful home birth. These experiences have deeply informed my belief in respectful, individualized, family-centered care.

As I prepare to graduate, I’m passionate about walking with families through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum with knowledge, compassion, and confidence.

“Imagine if our culture told us that birth was one of the greatest things a woman might ever do. Imagine if the stories and images we were exposed to taught us that labor is an incredible and transformational experience. A rite of passage into motherhood.”

– Leonie MacDonald

The Home Birth Experience

Woodland

"...My baby was born at home, frank breech with no intervention or complications - A true miracle! Kimberly was the Angel that brought my answer to prayer to life! Her care for me didn’t end at birth though. As a first time Mom, I had no idea what postpartum would entail, and every little question and concern that I had as a new Momma was met with such kindness and care. I also want to mention sweet Leagan and Rachel - these two Angels became very special to me and were such a comforting presence when I needed them most. Lastly, as someone new to the area, Kimberly’s recommendations on doulas, chiropractors, and anything I needed throughout my pregnancy were such a blessing! I truly loved everyone I ended up working with per her recommendation." -Megan M
